What is a Living Will?
A Florida advance directive also referred to as a Living Will is a set of declarations given to medical professionals on behalf of a patient who may be unable to make decisions about their treatment during the time of care.
It is a statement of your intentions regarding life-prolonging procedures if you have a terminal condition or in a vegetative state. You can authorize the administration of nutrition, medications for pain, and other methods – or state which medical treatments you do NOT want.
